Playing the tantan
The tantan is the largest of the hand drum family in Brazilian music, and I always enjoyed playing it like a piano, with the left hand on the low end and the right hand with a ring on it for the high snap. Here’ s a short improvisation, exploring some grooves… Enjoy!
