In 1986, while on a summer tour of Europe, we played with Hermeto & Grupo (with Carlos Malta on woodwinds, Itiberê Zwarg on bass, Marcio Bahia on drums, Pernambuco on percussion and myself on piano and flute) at the Jazz à Antibes, in the beautiful beach town of Juan-Les-Pins, in southern France. Most of our set can be seen in this video:
We had a special appearance by the great Paulo Moura joining us on soprano sax. It was a great show in front of a great audience.
What the video does not show is that, after we were done playing our set, we went straight in the ocean behind the stage and continued with our water percussion rhythmic set, as you can see on this shot:
