Hello friends in the Pacific Northwest,
I have been playing quite a bit with my ensembles in the past few weeks, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to share music with my hometown audiences. However, I also enjoy playing solo piano, and there is an entire repertoire of solo piano music that I rarely get to present in Seattle.
Well, we have such an opportunity this coming Monday, October 7 at 7PM at The Royal Room in Columbia City (5000 Rainier Ave. South). French-Malagasy pianist Mathis Picard is coming to Seattle to promote his latest solo recording, and he invited me to open for his set. Mathis is a brilliant pianist, and I opened for his last show in Seattle. I think this will be a perfect pairing of two piano soloists who can present a very wide gamut of stylings and techniques for the instrument.

If you are a fan of piano music, this show is for you.

I look forward to seeing you at the Royal Room on Monday.
Obrigado,
