Thanks for the gift of your subscriptions to my posts here on Substack. This past week my Quinteto with Ben Thomas on vibraphone and bandoneon, Tim Carey on bass, Mark Ivester on drums and Jeff Busch on percussion packed Seattle’s premier jazz venue, Dimitrious’ Jazz Alley for two nights. We had over 600 folks enjoying our music. Below are some images from the shows:
Tomorrow I am going to the beautiful redwoods of Sonoma County, California. I’ll be spending the week teaching and playing at California Brazil Camp, celebrating their 25th anniversary of bringing music and dance from Brazil to the West Coast. Last year I composed a bunch of new music there, and I expect to write some more this year. As usual, I post free scores of my music at this link. Check them out!
