In the Groove

My new online class starts this Thursday

Hello dear friends,

I am excited about my new class that starts this Thursday, January 18 at 6:30PM (Pacific).

In the Groove is a different look/listen into the power of rhythm to connect humans, not only from its musical aspect, but also from cultural, perceptual and biological perspectives.

• How do we feel and define groove? 

• How does it feel in the body?

• What elements must be present for a groove to exist? 

• How closely is groove related to geographical and cultural factors?

I hope to use these questions to spark new conversations over the course of two 2-hour sessions, starting this Thursday January 18, and continuing on January 25, both days at 6:30PM (Pacific)
