A special focus for pianists

Hello folks,

I am writing to invite all of you (especially if you play piano or keys) to join me later this month in Port Townsend, WA for the Centrum Choro Northwest Camp, a 5-day musical retreat in the beautiful Fort Worden State Park, where I will be one of the teachers, along with Anat Cohen (clarinet), Daniela Spielmann (sax/flute), Douglas Lora (guitar), Dudu Maia (mandolin) and Alexandre Lora (percussion). This year our focus will be on music composed by pianists. We’ll learn pieces by Ernesto Nazareth, Radamés Gnattali, Antonio Carlos Jobim and several others. Our classes are aimed at all levels, and there will be many opportunities to take part in rodas (jam sessions) and to share music with several other choro aficionados.
