Hello and happy Sunday to all of you!

Many of my subscribers have already participated in one or more of my online classes and workshops, so I don't have to tell you about my style of delivering musical information in a concise and accessible language.

Tomorrow, Monday, July 1 at 6:30 PM (Pacific time)  I will hold another Zoom session, but this time without any  preset topics. Instead , this will be like a jam session, where participants and I will engage in an. open discussion on a variety of musical topics. Everything related to music will be considered. History, techniques, musicians and much more!

I can certainly get the ball rolling, talking about the upcoming world premiere of my new composition for jazz orchestra A Onça E O Pajé (The Jaguar and the Shaman), happening on July 25 in the Amazonian city of Manaus It will be performed by the Amazonas Big Band directed by Rui Carvalho, and I will be on piano and flute. I believe that the performance will be live streamed, and if so, I will share the details here with you. Tomorrow I plan to share snippets of the music and tell the story behind it.
