I found this book by Getulio Mac Cord (arrgh, wunna me Irish homies sure an' begorrah! :o) called Tropicália, um Caldeirão Cultural, but it's on Amazon. I would rather steal it off an old lady than get it on Amazon at this point, so I may have to get creative (but not larcenous).

Try "Tropical Truth" by Caetano Veloso. I just gave an English copy to Goodwill, since I have the Portuguese original...
